- Lost. A really great wallet clip hybrid, especially after you've opened it up and cards come out more easily from the three slots on the side of the clip. True to the hype, this thing holds the usual amount of bills very securely, and the big wad does quite well. Love the wallet feature for storing receipts and extra cards. However, the disadvantage of such a strong magnet is that magnetizing thin cards and strips (like NYC MTA cards, parking tickets, etc.) remain useless and any funds or information stored on the card will be lost. This happened to four of my cards at two types of dealers, both in cities 150 miles apart, proving that this cannot be a card malfunction. Before degaussing, the cards were held on the side by the clip or in attachable side pockets. But I love this thing enough to buy a subway map and test storage theory. Good news: The only way I've found to prevent this is to keep such cards in an open area of the wallet, on the side completely opposite the clip, and with a credit card and a couple of receipts that act as a magnetic buffer. The buyer is still buying. just be careful
