Best Value in Automotive and Automotive Electronics

I agree with the comments about bad instructions. Don't bother visiting URLs as they won't tell you how to install anything. The product is good for its low cost and works well. I also had problems with the adhesive but the seller said he would send me a suction cup mount. The camera doesn't offer as wide a viewing angle as the built-in camera on one of my machines, but it does the job. I tilt it a bit to see what's behind me, not what's right next to my bumper. I had an issue where one of the power cords broke but the seller sent me a new one. Good customer service. I suggest you use a multimeter to check the power wires before installing them in your car. It's also best to test the system before installing it to make sure it works. The rear camera mount is too big and obscuring my license plate, so I cut it off with pliers. It still had enough room to stay installed, so even if it's not perfect, it works. You can search YouTube for videos on how to install backup cameras on different cars and they are different for each car so there is no reason for them to give more detailed instructions. Please note that you can power the device in two ways - just regular power cords or connect the red wire to the yellow video wire. Been to the car wash, no problems so far. I did notice that I was getting a purple tint on some power ups, but that only happened before my system was fully installed. The camera/video turns on immediately when I shift into reverse (because I hooked it up to the reverse lights) and the camera also automatically turns on IR mode when it's dark. Update 12/01/19: Still working fine. I poured some of that regular glue gun under the mount to stick it to the loose glue pad and it was enough to hold it in place instead of using a suction cup. The purple hue happens randomly maybe 5% of the time, but I don't mind. Far from perfect, but definitely usable. And don't worry if it's broken or stolen.
