Review on 🔧 Oil Filter Relocation Kit by Trans-Dapt 1127 by Calvin Booker

This product has been in my Buick enclave for a few oil changes and I'm glad I have it. Installation was excruciating, as was a standard oil change! My only concern is that the length of the standard hose is pretty short so make sure you choose a mounting location. Hose fittings tend to leak a little since they have to be twisted during installation. UPDATE 6/29/13: I changed the oil today and noticed some oil around the filter housing. After some investigating and tightening, a small leak on the swivel fittings turned into a strainer! This is not good. After some research, it was found that fittings with strong barbs and hose clamps are the most effective. Otherwise, get good quality braided hoses with strong barbs. Still recommend this product with quality parts upgrade before installation. Another 2 star deduction.
