🔧 Oil Filter Relocation Kit by Trans-Dapt 1127 Review

This worked well although it started badly. The first kit I got was for the wrong car. Revain sent a second for the night and there were no hoses in that set. So by combining the two sets I got a working one. A few months installed and an oil change. Now it is MUCH easier and less complicated to change the filter.

The product was an instant failure as others have pointed out, it looked fine until after an hour I connected and reattached the lines. After pouring 7 liters of oil and special additives, and then igniting - it burst with a hole due to the zero quality control of Trans dapt - the treatment is too deep, and as a result - the cut goes through. Good thing it's not part of anything important. It's time for transgender people to rise to the challenge.

Ok, this product is great. I was able to remove my oil filter from hiding under the engine and above the front power steering motor just behind the front bumper stay. It now takes me about 30 seconds to cleanly change the filter where it used to take 20 minutes just to lift the truck and pour about a liter all over the place. However, use high-temp tape to seal the threads on the connectors and purchase four 3/4-inch hose clamps to ensure the hoses don't leak. Otherwise it's child's play! And…

This product has been in my Buick enclave for a few oil changes and I'm glad I have it. Installation was excruciating, as was a standard oil change! My only concern is that the length of the standard hose is pretty short so make sure you choose a mounting location.
