Review on ๐Ÿถ IIT 99918 Coiled Tie Out Cable - 16 Feet: Secure and Reliable Pet Restraint Solution by Tonya Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A ten-year solution for a trolleybus catenary!

Second purchase of these 2 complete lines to increase the range of the dog blanket trolley. I have 2 large dogs +/-50# and I use 2 of them for each line (now 3 in the same line), just as a backup. No signs of wear or signs of wear after 2+ years. The coil is still strong (although it lengthens out of the box) and the armature crimps are not out of phase. There is not the slightest sign of wear on the plastic cover, so the cable underneath is stronger than ever. The only thing that is worn is the clips and they still open and close securely. Under acid (volcano on Big Island) rain some of them rusted - in 2 years! This isn't a complaint, it's praise for a critical, fail-safe pet item! I'd replace them with these again - maybe in a decade or two LOL Note: They're not meant to be tied! The bad reviews come from people tying up little dogs who are tangled up in the reels - bad human judgment poor dogs! For dogs of all sizes, they're designed for a hanging cart - and they're WAY BETTER than straight, uncoiled leashes for this purpose - where any dog gets tangled up in a straight line! Why isn't this sensible theme just a default theme? Thinking about it, I might be better off ordering another pair so I have a full replacement in 2040 if I need one.
