First of all I have very thin hair so I'm trying to keep what I have. My hair gets tangled easily and was harder to brush without pulling it out, so I put it in a ponytail most of the time. I tried many brushes, from cheaper to more expensive, and every time I combed my hair you could see how much hair came out of the brush. I was looking for detangling brushes on Revain and stumbled across this one after reading many reviews and deciding I needed to lose more than just more hair. Well I'm glad I chose this one because now I can comb my hair and not all the hair I'm used to is left in the comb. That's great!
