Bought to repair microcracks in my layer of plaster (like plaster) on the house. I used about 20 tubes so I have little experience. I've found that using thin tape and flattening it out with a putty knife works great. The knife dries up, use this part for other cracks or wipe with a paper towel. Looks great after painting. It seems to take a few days to "cure" properly, although due to time constraints I actually painted some areas in just a day and it still seemed to cure well under the paint. First piece used over a year ago and even after a NE winter it's still holding up. Couldn't find anything similar locally and glad I stumbled across this - works amazing. Not sure if it's marked for this, but I even filled some wood holes with it and smoothed it out before painting, and it's actually held up great. Good product
