Faulty Pressure Control Valve Letdown

Measured the pressure in my Home and Kitchen setup with a brand new Genuine Pressure Regulator Aluminum Stainless and found it was faulty. It was unable to hold the pressure, leading to food overcooking .With the high price tag, it`s a surprising letdown..
