. for dirt roads. I used to have another portable compressor that broke quickly, so I replaced it with this one. Haven't used it yet, just tested it and it seems good and will do the job. The reason I give this product 4 stars is because the ring wire harness kit has no fuse and no plug cover. I ended up using the battery tender rig I left with a built in fuse and connector cover. If you are riding off-road and the fork is permanently installed on the bike, it must be protected. I believe the manufacturer should supply this with the compressor. Updated review: This device lasted maybe 5 air fills and stopped pumping air even though it was working. This happened a few months after purchase. Also, they fell apart. I don't recommend it, just buy a compact manual foot pump which is a hassle but when you go off track and need to inflate your tires it is reliable and works. BTW I contacted the supplier and they were willing to exchange it, but I didn't do this because I didn't trust the device, too critical when there was no working pump in the boon docks.
