Converting 8mm film to digital costs money, you just need time and patience to go through the conversion process. It comes with a 32GB memory card that contains lots of digital movies. I have about 20 1940's movies that my grandfather made and I took them to Walgreens to have them converted and it must have cost over $1000 to do the job. After a long search on the internet I decided on this device and it works great!
