The scent is bomb!

I was so excited when it arrived. I took everything out of the box. I tried separating the parts of the juicer so I could put them in a baking soda bath, but it was almost impossible. I tried calling the company at 1:30am PST but they are closed. And they say to call next business day without specifying hours or time zones. I kept fighting, reading the instructions, and finally, with a titanic effort, I disassembled, washed, and reassembled the parts. I followed the instructions and couldn't put the whole block on the motor. I took it apart again and put the pieces back together and everything was much better. I then squeezed the juice and tasted what I made and it was absolutely delicious. Then it's time to take it apart and clean it. Well I can't share the details. I'm not sure what's expected of me, but I couldn't see anything. So now I'm submerging the whole ensemble in a sink full of water and hoping that if I can't take it apart my husband can take it apart without damaging it. This worries me a lot because I intend to drink juice every day. I'm very, very happy with the juicer, although I've read that if you had a horizontal Omega you wouldn't like a vertical one. Well if I could take it apart I wouldn't mind having a little more time to clean it but if I never get to take it apart I will be very unhappy and will be returning it. I wonder if anyone else has encountered the same problems. Despite all my research, I can't remember anyone mentioning that they can't take the pieces apart and I'm wondering why this is so difficult for me. Any comments on what might be helpful or much appreciated. But in the current form I am very dissatisfied, except for the taste of the juice, it is amazing!
