Great idea! I've spent hours (and money) looking for replacement glass for our 4x6 photo frames. Our cats or children will knock our picture frames off the cupboard and inevitably break the glass. There were times when I couldn't even find replacement glass, so I bought a cheap picture frame and just used the glass. This is a really smart and economical way to deal with this problem. Just keep in mind that each piece of plexiglass has a thin coating on *both* sides and you may have to peel it off around the edges with your fingernail. I am now ordering some for my 5x7 picture frames.
