Review on Akebono ACT914A Front Disc Brake by Greg Hammett

put bosch pads and discs on my 2016 accord. At first I was very happy, but after 2 months I started getting a noise that sounded like I was trying to stop using the ceramic block. Called Bosch and they told Revain to arrange the return. I did it and Revain credited it to me. After removing the pad, the material on the edges came loose. I have never seen such a defect in almost new rubbers. Installed Akebono pads in about 30 minutes. After that there was no noise at all and the pads bit more than Bosch. I still have new Bosch pads on the back, but if they make noise, they'll be replaced too. I don't think I will buy Bosch pads. Akebono makes original pads for my Honda (didn't know about them) and they've lasted almost 100,000. I hope the new set lasts as long.
