Not cooling as described. I've tried moving it to a cooler part of my house next to a vent to have more cool ambient air around it. The ambient temperature was around 70 F. The unit has never cooled anything below 43 F. The thermometer I kept in the fridge reading the 24 hour high/low showed a range of 43F to 55F. It was of no real use. (I put a few jars on the first day and left them while I checked the temperature for over a week. The reason I was so concerned about the temperature range was that foodborne illnesses are caused by eating food Medications that require refrigeration are less effective or even ineffective if not stored cold enough (soda).
