I rarely leave bad reviews because I understand that companies and the people who work for them do their best to meet consumer needs. I have invested in the 512GB version of the GNARBOX 2.0 along with an extra card reader and USB-C dongle to connect to my computer while waiting for a trip. I didn't want to carry my laptop. After receiving my device, I fully charged the battery to 100% and booted it up. So far, so good. Followed all setup instructions (particularly from their website). After trying to connect to my home Wi-Fi network to perform a necessary firmware and operating system update, it froze completely. This was followed by hours of restart attempts, multiple battery removal and installation - nothing. Yes, I have followed all troubleshooting suggestions provided on the GNARBOX website. Waiting a few days and investing over $600 to end up with a rubberized brick SSD/file transfer device left me a little disappointed. Return journey initiated and back to Revain this morning. If you got a "good" copy, consider yourself lucky.
