ORIGINAL POST - 1/2/14 Five Star Rating Works as advertised. Keeps the tank warm in the coldest weather. Once you've attached it to the 40lb tank, when the tank is empty all you have to do is detach the tank and pull on the Powerblanket to remove it. Switch to a new tank, place the Powerblanket on the tank and reattach to whatever you are using. Shame it's a bit pricey, but worth it if you need to use propane in cold spells or if you use propane so quickly it freezes at the outlet. UPDATE - 1/2/14 to a star I noticed the duvet wasn't heating up like it used to, so I called the company. Yes there is a 1 year warranty but I missed 6 days - despite having to wait 2 weeks for delivery. Nevertheless, they will not repair the device because it is "not inexpensive". So I bought a $500 electric blanket that only lasted 5 months. (In the summer it was kept in the original packaging). This is indeed another case of poor customer service and quality. UPDATE - 4/19/15 to 3 stars. one. Unfortunately too late for the current season. The Rma process is quite slow. I wish they could be more willing to offer a replacement while the non-working blanket is checked. The entire purpose of the product is to prevent propane from freezing. If I have to wait a month without checking it, what good is it to me? I bought two smaller PBL20 blankets as insurance against breakage. I hope this replacement blanket lasts more than one season. When the second one dies I will update again.
