I replaced my old RayMarine fish finder that was using an Airmar B744v transducer through the transducer housing. I bought a Garmin wired box adapter to use the same sensor with my new Garmin EchoMap plus 64cv card. I couldn't believe how easy it was to plug in the adapter, the instructions are accurate and I got it done in about an hour. I connected the transducer cable to my Garmin EchoMap and it worked straight away showing depth, temp and finding fish. I highly recommend this unit for mixing and matching an old sensor with new Garmin hardware.
