Worst sentence ever!

I bought this because it was easy enough for a very young beginner. The first thing that struck me was the incredibly stiff fabric. He hardly bends. In fact, I don't think it will lay flat in the tire. The second problem is that when you print, the title and color bar will show when the image is in the included frame. The mesh is also visible, while the picture on the box does not indicate there is a mesh. The frame has no backing except for two thin cardboard circles. The instructions don't tell you how to frame your finished project, so I'm assuming you tape the corners of the fabric between two pieces of cardboard and frame them all. There are 2 decent sized needles in the kit but the thread is so thick that I doubt a beginner would be able to thread the needle. It's a 6 ply yarn, that's all. The instructions say to use the thread as is rather than splitting the threads, which makes sense given the fabric's stiffness. I considered the possibility that perhaps it was intended to sew the entire canvas, but with the number of threads included, that's unlikely. Also, the instructions are in broken English and sometimes difficult to understand. Lowest quality plastic frames. It's cheap, but a waste of money in every way.

Pros
  • Each thread color has a corresponding number and color block on the canvas, making it easier to find the area that corresponds to the unique thread. (The pre-printed color has nothing to do with the filament color)
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
