Review on πŸ›‘οΈ Honeywell Safety DF300 H910P N95 Flatfold Disposable Respirator - Pack of 50 (DF300H910N95) by Leroy Stanton

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Made in China... I doubt the authenticity and sent mine back.

Honeywell Safety DF300 H910P N95: $34.78 for a 50-pack at time of review Now that disposable N95 mask prices seem to have come down, I thought this might be one good opportunity to restock the ones I used in my first aid kit. The best price I could find on a mask was this 50 pack from Honeywell. *What I liked*: About 70 cents for the mask, the price is right. leaving the factory. The seal fits snugly to my face and the foam bridge prevents discomfort. *What I didn't like*: The straps appear to have a much smaller maximum stretch distance. It was a bit difficult to put them on my head. The masks I tested smelled clearly of chemicals. The picture of the mask doesn't match what it says on the box (although the box does suggest it might). It's not a big deal, but I have a feeling they can throw any old mask in there. The masks mean they are N95 and NIOSH certified. However, I see that my batch appears to have been made in China. Another reviewer claims to have spoken to Honeywell customer service who told them legal masks are made in Mexico. I honestly don't know if that's true. But if so, then it's because my batch came from China. * Conclusion: * I decided to return these masks and I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I'm not really interested in the "Made in China" and "Mexico" aspects. But the difficulty of putting them on, combined with the chemical smell that adds to the question of legal origin, is generally enough to put me off any chance. Two stars out of five. I wouldn't buy them again.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
