Used to mill a 3/16" deep circle in 1/2" thick plywood to hold a Lexan insert. The downward cut minimized peeling of the plywood, leaving the edges very clean. The drill showed no signs of wear or overheating, even after over 200 inches of milling. There's always the problem of clearing the material being cut with straight cutters, especially a cutter as narrow as this 1/8" router, but at this depth there were no problems with sawdust ejection - no burning during the Cut noticeable. Excellent cut!
