After finally getting my iPod nano, I decided I needed a radio with an alarm clock for it. I went through review after review from iHome, RCA, Sony and others. Didn't want to spend too much money as I only used it for my alarm clock and occasionally as a radio. I've had a Sony CD clock/radio for almost 10 years now and it worked great until last year (the CD player eventually died but the clock and radio still work). I bought this model for Christmas and am very happy with it so far. The sound is surprisingly good for such a small speaker set. I have no problem setting the alarm for the exact song I want, and while some have complained that it's hard to work at first, I've had no problem with it. As long as this thing performs at its current level for a year or two, I'll be very happy with it. I would definitely recommend it and will buy another one in the future. Works with latest generation Nano although it is not mentioned in the specs. **Update I will say that unfortunately this radio does not last forever. About a year after I received it, the iPod dock stopped working. However, I liked it so much that I bought another one that still works. If he dies I'll buy another one!
