Awesome remote, some people don't like push buttons but I prefer that kind of haptic feedback (the main reason I don't update my iPhone without a physical home button). ATTENTION, YOU MUST USE LITHIUM BATTERIES! I put in fresh lye and nothing (you see the keyboard backlight turning on when it turns on). After a little research I found out that some remotes are designed for metal. So at first I thought that I received a marriage from the seller and ordered a replacement, but I was wrong. YOU MUST USE LITHIUM BATTERIES! Other uninformed reviewers are demanding alkaline or Vizio branded batteries, NO. Zinc batteries are now obsolete and have been replaced by LITHIUM batteries. So LITHIUM LITHIUM LITHIUM anyway! Anyway, I decided to keep the first remote because they are so cheap and worth the money, now I have 2 of them haha. There is also no need to program the remote control with any code as it is transmitted via infrared. Pop in some LITHIUM batteries and you're good to go, as long as it's the correct remote for your TV's model number.
