For years my household addiction to paper towels was crazy. My husband, my elderly dogs, and I needed $50 worth of paper towels every month to get by. It's crazy, obscene, and a horror for the planet, and there are things I've left dusty and dirty for years because I knew I was going to use rolls and rolls of paper towels to get the job done. The situation with COVID-19 and paper towels has nowhere to go. To find, I bought new kitchen towels about a month ago and stumbled across this set while browsing. Saw 5 stars and added it to my Interesting Finds list. A few days later I came back to read the reviews and decided to order hoping to get my little family off the paper towel pacifier. In the 10 days I had my family used up exactly 2 paper towels because I didn't want to use my brand new skoy rag to wipe up a small puddle of beagle vomit. Since then, I've carried purple and blue through every room of the house. I've used a scraper to remove months of shower/bath scum with just a light swipe of a mild bathroom cleaner, then rinse it off with boiling water before starting work on the dark side of the fridge that no one sees, but where all are splashes are. I won't use the words "magic" or "miracle" because they're horribly formulaic when describing cleaning products, but these products are impressive. I have already ordered an extra pack of 8 wipes and another set like this to give my mum for Mother's Day. I told her about it and she was so excited that she ordered a set for my sister without using the products. Reducing paper towels is an exciting, exciting thing for me and my husband. What a great way to save $500-$600 a year. And having a product that works so well has inspired me to channel my stress and anger into a cleansing storm at this pointless situation in our country.
