Review on Micro Swiss HW NOZ MK10 04 Plated Resistant Nozzles by Chris Castro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An upgrade that will add shine to your prints!

I have a pair for Wanhao Duplicator 4s with MK10 extruders. First, let me say that I received production replacement nozzles, unbranded Chinese brass nozzles, unbranded Chinese stainless steel nozzles, and so-called high-lubrication brass nozzles. In total I tried nozzles from 5-6 different sources. I just couldn't bring myself to spend $15 on a nozzle. Again and again I was just not satisfied with my prints. I finally bit the bullet and got a pair of these. Wow! I should have skipped all the others and got this from day one! I saw the difference immediately! I mean, they even nailed filament printing for $15 a kilo. Absolutely worth the upgrade. I haven't printed with abrasive filaments yet, so I can't comment on durability. However, the print quality alone costs money.

Pros
  • Super-hard coating creates a low-friction nozzle that lasts longer than uncoated brass. The brass base material retains thermal conductivity, which ensures constant heat output.
Cons
  • Some errors
