I lost my favorite memory foam pillow on a trip and started looking for an identical one. The company seems to have stopped making this pillow so I got really upset and started looking. At first I ignored this pillow because it seemed to have an odd shape at first. This particular 24" x 4" SleepRight Side sleeping pillow appears to be made for small sizes. I'm petite but need a neck brace. When my search for a new pillow was unsuccessful, I went back to reconsider this one. Boy am I ever glad I did I'm a small woman and I sleep on my side and if I don't have a neck brace I wake up with all kinds of cramps in my shoulders and neck, soreness and pain. This pillow fits me like it was custom made. I can not believe that. It's not too soft for the memory foam to completely smooth out, but it's definitely not too hard like some might be. It's like they designed the pillow just for me. I love it and hope they make it travel size because I never want to be without it. Re: smell. Every memory foam has an odor. That is the nature of the animal. I don't like the smell, but it goes away after a while, so sensitive people should be advised to ventilate well. which comes with its own plastic carry case with rope handle. I take it with me on all my travels and love this pillow too! I also find that unlike some memory foam pillows - and I've tried many - these don't discolour as quickly as others if you have to remove the covers for washing. The foam remains very white. Just my personal preference. I love BOTH pillows and although there are four to six other pillows on my king bed at the same time, this pillow has become my favorite. LOVE LOVE LOVE it's quiet!
