I'm tired of my fluorescent tubes not working well. The tank looked old and tired. The reviews for Beamswork LEDs convinced me to try them. My 44G corner tank had two fluorescent lights. Decided to buy one of each and see how the new headlights do to the tank. I WILL NOT GET A SECOND. No need. The tank is lighter than ever. The fish don't seem to mind. It is still too early to talk about the effect on (all) living plants in the aquarium. Even though the old lights were 18" long, I decided to go with a 24" LED. More light where needed. above the center of the hole. It's only a 3 inch overhang on each side; easy to hide. The timer is skipped. Uses the standard lighting timer I've used with fluorescent lights. Works perfectly. Let's hope the LEDs last as long as promised.
