This is a real review from a real customer (see photo). Yes when these poufs arrived I was shocked to see that they were shrink wrapped, completely flat and crumpled. After taking them out of the packaging and putting them in for about 45 minutes, I noticed that they returned to their shape on their own. I looked at other reviews and saw that some people "washed" and dried poufs in the dryer. I gave it a try - I took all 12 puffs, hand washed them in warm water, wrung them out and threw them in the dryer (no fabric). They have fully regained their shape and swelling, there are no creases or dents on the puffs. (See photo) After drying I tested it with real powder and they work great! I am male and this is my hand holding two (2) puffs as an example of their size and shape. These are good poufs for price, style and quantity - I say #buy
