That these covers only last 2 years

This is my second sun 2 solar cover. I even upgraded from 1200 to 1600 but the quality of my first one was thicker. That said they do their job to warm up your pool and reduce evaporation. Most of this covers if not all only last 2 years and they start disintegrating.Their warranty does not cover it. So if you are doing it for the above purpose do it and just make a decision that you will have to replace it every 2 years.

Pros

The cover can be custom cut to fit irregularly shaped pools as well for a more tailored coverage

Cons

The cover may become dirty easily and require frequent cleaning
