Works great. The items arrived rolled up but that didn't matter as the bathtub drain I used them in has a standard curved P trap. Drano didn't help cure our slow leak, so my wife asked me if I knew of another method. It was the only thing I could think of (besides calling a plumber). I unwrapped one of the snakes and placed it on the toilet ready for use. There was another snake nearby that I could unroll if I felt I needed to use it. I didn't want to contaminate anything I was about to put in the drawer, so everything else was removed. The amount of disgusting stuff coming out of the sewers was sickening. Gloves are a must, a mask is also a good idea. As I pushed the snake further down the drain, more and more waste poured out. After a while, I noticed that some of the snake's teeth were bent or broken off by the tub drain. I was pretty sure I had uninstalled as much as I wanted, but decided to open my Snake backup package and try again. Nothing happened to the new snake. I disposed of both snakes, along with gloves, in a plastic bag that I placed in the tub. Left everything there so we can talk to the teenager about needing the drain valve to stay in place so it doesn't happen again. Bathtub drains like new.
