Nice inflatable SUP at a good price

Pros: It deflates well and stores/moves. You don't have to inflate it to a maximum pressure of 15psi. I can get by with 8 or 9, that saves time. The paddle is fine. I'm not a pro, I like to paddle around the lakes in my area, lay on my board and relax. I rode significant distances around a lake and had no problems with the board or paddle. I was worried it would leak after a while so I bought the warranty for another $30. Still a lot cheaper than renting boards from SUP companies. I was in Florida in July and the current rate can be as high as $80-$100 per day. You can check it in as baggage and it'll pay for itself in a trip or two! Cons: Some small lakes have algae and slime that stick to the board like GLUE. The board may discolor after 20 minutes of swimming in such water. I wiped the board with chlorox wipes to get the 90% off and then hosed it down. I'm not going back to that lake. This helps to wash the board right away if you want to keep it clean. I've seen reviews that say the raised soft logo falls off. Mine is starting to discolor and the tips are starting to peel off, but so far it hasn't been a problem. I've used it half a dozen times and one of those was a 3 hour paddle. Most others took at least an hour. The local VA SUP rental shop is $25 an hour. So if I can run the board 15-20 times before having to decide to scrap it I will consider it viable. If I can get outside 20-30 times a year for a couple of years then that money is well spent having my own schedule. When he finally dies I have a 3 year guarantee from Revain anyway.
