Okay, but check the end of the cable.
Works out of the box with my Raspberry Pi and Raspbian w1 driver. The only problem I had was that some of them had the inner insulation damaged where the outer jacket was cut at the factory and this caused the conductors to break after mixing. Bench I had to cut the cable and re-terminate.
- DS18B20 temperature sensor chip, whose contacts are separated by a shrink tube, can prevent short circuits
- There are other interesting options.
