The lock fulfilled its function during work. I think that can be taken as a plus. Unfortunately, after less than 3 months, the lock no longer opened. This is a bit of an awkward situation as I now have a hardened chain around my bike and can't get it off. The keys to this lock are very fragile so at first I thought the key I was using was simply worn out. When I returned to my apartment and was given a spare key that had never been used, I found that this was not the case. The key fully engages the cylinder and rotates, but the bolt does not release the chain. Don't buy this lock unless you plan to spend some time removing it with your angle grinder.
