Review on 🧊 Frost King V3625/4 Crystal Clear Vinyl Sheeting: Packaged Rolls - 36" x 25' x 4mil by Tom Roberts

It was my fault but it wasn't what I needed.

I bought a window film set but wanted a larger sheet to cover some very large windows and I saw a picture of a window covered with it on the packaging and didn't read the fine print. These rolls are not really made for this purpose and do not come with double sided tape to stick to the window. In the winter we don't heat many of our rooms simply because we don't use them, which leads to problems with iced windows on the inside on bitterly cold nights. Applying window film virtually eliminates this problem and when that didn't work, as I hoped, we bought a few more kits. I had several screen frame packs that you can cut, put together with some corner pieces and make your replacement screens, so I made some frames and used this plastic instead of screen stock to make my own storm windows. The first one works well so I'm going to make another one in the summer and put storm windows on a couple of windows I'm having trouble with and won't be putting foil on the inside every year anymore. While the film works, this is a problem for our cats and as it covers the entire window it has to be removed to open the window in the summer. This protective coating is clear, but I would say "crystal clear" is a bit of a drag and will fade somewhat over time in the sun. If you have recently evaluated a large sheet of plexiglass or flexoglass, you will recently find that this is a viable alternative. I've used another 4 mil film before and it's as thick as I can get and can still see through clearly but it doesn't have much UV protection so it does get brittle over time but about US 10 dollars apiece. roll it away
