Review on Milescraft 4016 BenchLock by Grant Galloway

This $10 Milescraft base gives you more bells and whistles than the Kreg base, which costs twice as much. It has a V-groove as well as a leveling device to help you clamp exactly where the two pieces of wood meet. However, I'm not sure how useful this really is because after all this base is made for a dog bench table. And if you have such a table, most likely you already have a system of how to arrange parts to connect. I have a Kreg Adaptive Cutting Table and use the bench stops and stops to ensure the parts line up properly. However, it may be useful for some people, which is an added bonus. You can see in the pictures that I am using a Kreg clamp with this Milescraft base. They are interchangeable. You can also use a Milescraft clip with a Kreg base.
