Review on πŸƒ Buffalo Industries Bilge Boom (90405) – Highly Efficient 6" x 19" Solution by Joshua Carter

The capacity is better than the usual store!

Failed to load media. 4 starts because I haven't used them yet as my boat hasn't found any leaks in the engine. However, they fit perfectly in my 1986 37 foot Cruiser Convertible. My engines each hold 6 gallons of oil, so these little sticks from the local shop don't even come close to the advertised performance! They fit well in the cargo area, don't rub, and will last 3 gallons each if my engines ever blow out! They don't absorb water, which is a big plus. In general I would recommend it for sport fish that need more capacity in a smaller diameter. I wouldn't if you don't have a lot of space under the motors. They are about the size of two regular rods (bought from a small shop) in diameter. Hope that helps. Update: I've been using these since our riser failed. Despite the lack of oil, we got a lot of soot when we removed the CO2 system as we couldn't tell if the problem was fire related. What they did was eat up tons of sooty trash when we downsized the entire engine room. All work! Launch of CAT 3116 Twin Diesels. I redeemed them and they will arrive this Friday 18/01/2019! So they sucked up a lot of the cleaning chemicals along with the diesel soot and some liquids when we did the job after the riser failed. Oh and I saw a post give out and then soak up the oil and I can tell you it happened on ours from the starboard side when I was draining the oil. filter by spilling into the hold. The arrow absorbed all the oil! Hope that helps. Thanks Knotty Hattitude
