Review on SHINESTAR Roadside Magnetic Emergency Batteries by Mike Kies

My dad has a set of these lights (not sure if it's the exact brand but they look the same) and they saved our bacon, as did our truck and us had a breakdown and had to leave our truck and trailer overnight on a dark mountain road. I decided to buy my own just in case. Recently, on a whim, we decided to install some of these in our garden for Halloween special effects. I pulled it out of the truck and turned it on. These lights are nice and bright. BUT after about an hour they all went out - the batteries supplied are VERY dead. If your car is stuck for more than an hour, the batteries that come with it probably won't get you through the night. I ended up replacing all the batteries with Energizer/Duracell and they worked again. They lasted another 3+ hours with no issues and were still going strong. I am sure that with decent batteries they will last all night on the curb. Lighting = good Batteries included = not very good
