Review on 🖋️ LAMY Joy Calligraphy Pen 1.1MM (L15-11): A Stylish and Precise Writing Instrument for Artists and Pen Enthusiasts by Amanda Castillo

I learned to write calligraphy with chisel points so this was a great discovery. The Lamy Joy Calligraphy Pen with 1.1mm core takes me back to the time when I started learning calligraphy. It's a smooth writing experience with no hiccups, bumps, burps. The pen is so smooth, the only thing that could be softer is a felt tip pen, but after using the lamé, why resort to it? I like the triangular handle, it's easier to hold. The converter cartridge is very easy to use and the pen works great with inks that are known to clog other fountain pens (diamine shimmer ink). I really appreciate the ink window that lets me know when it's time to add more ink and it's a thoughtful move on the part of the designers. The only thing I'd like to add to this pen is a flexible nib, but I realize I'm chasing the modern fountain pen unicorn. Otherwise, this is a great pen to add some pizzazz to your everyday writing.
