just over a month old, although I soaked the entire wooden part of this brush in oil before use, a large crack has just formed on the side. and I just got past the 30 day window - but aside from the wasted money I'm really frustrated that it won't last. This is the best brush I've ever tried in terms of shape and size. other brushes are too rounded on the bottom or the bristles are spread at too great an angle. I think this brush could be more resistant to cracking if they spaced the bristles a bit further but still clipped them at the bottom. This allows the brush to dry faster between uses. ILLUSION. You can also heat treat wood. Maybe they do with some other products.
