I have OSA that I treat with CPAP. Because I breathe through my mouth when I sleep, I was prescribed a full-face mask. However, I couldn't get used to it and wanted to try a nasal mask or a nasal pillow system. At first I tried using a chin strap to keep my mouth closed when I slept. However, it was too bulky to use with a nose pad strap and the neoprene it contained caused sweating at the contact points. I then tried sealing my mouth with surgical tape, but none of the ones I tried stuck to my skin overnight. The glue partially irritated my sensitive skin. Then I came across a review of this product that described how sticky it was and also how non-irritating it was. I tried it for use with CPAP and it worked great! The mesh construction allows my skin to breathe and the easy tear perforations are very comfortable, the two piece length is perfect for covering my closed mouth. And, boy, does it stick. However, taking it off in the morning is only slightly uncomfortable. I'm very happy with this tape and while it looks expensive at first glance, it's quite economical for the way I use it.
