I don't like how 1 inch keeps up with his daily activities

Use 2 times a day on your husband for his surgical dialysis, got insurance and changed it to 1 inch. I don't like the way "1" manages his daily activities, these "2" are much more tailored to his needs. The perforation tear is also 2 inches, which works well. When insurance stopped sending 2" models I looked online and they are a lot cheaper and still good quality fabric. I was very happy with this purchase and will continue to buy every few months.

. or 5 branded tapes that were just a waste of money

I looked at 4 or 5 branded tapes that were just a waste of money. I have a chronic wound that is healing after Achilles surgery and I need to keep the wound clean. This tape stuck to me while showering and sticks very well even to a difficult healing site. Even if you got wet, you still have to peel off this tape. The branded tape twisted and fell off. It reminded me that this band holds my bandage in place while I sleep while I have to secure the other one with a sock. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Vulgarity

The softest yet most durable webbing strap I've found.

This is the only tape I will be using for my elderly mother. It's gentle on her skin but sticks well to the surgical pads I use for wounds/blisters on her feet, ankles and shins. It sticks to itself even more so you have to be careful. When it's stuck to itself, it's almost impossible to detach. Most of the time I have to start from a new track. The perforations are spaced 1" apart so you don't waste much and they come off easily. The rolls are just the right length to be handled with one hand.

3M chose this option

This 2 inch Medipore tape is a winner. It's very soft and comfortable. I measured a thickness of 0.3 mm. thick. I used it to brace a sprained wrist. 2 inch width gives you good coverage. On the wrist, a 3 or 4 wrap will provide good support despite the softness of the product. Pre-punched 2-inch divisions are no problem. don't get accidental tears before you're ready. 3M scored these cross perforations. The tape sticks well but doesn't hurt when you try to remove it and it doesn't leave a mark…

If you have sensitive skin: This is amazing

I sleep with my mouth closed otherwise I keep waking up because it opens. It also keeps me from dehydrating at night and waking up so dry I can barely swallow. So I use different types of tapes for sensitive skin. So far I've only found two ways that work and this is one of them. Aside from not causing any allergic reactions, it's also lined with small air holes to keep sweat from escaping and your skin from rotting underneath. I don't leave any traces either. You only need a tiny bit and…

  • I will add later

After chemotherapy, stem cell transplant and graft versus host disease, my skin became very sensitive. The adhesive in the band-aid tears my skin. Paper tape can also do this if it is torn off with force. Finally, I found 3M's Medicare Tape on Revain. While it's not perfect and can take some getting used to, I'm much more likely to have no skin damage or minimal damage when it's removed. A few tips: - Don't try to use scissors, the tape will just get caught on the blades and you'll end up…

Perfect sleep solution for mouth breathers

I have OSA that I treat with CPAP. Because I breathe through my mouth when I sleep, I was prescribed a full-face mask. However, I couldn't get used to it and wanted to try a nasal mask or a nasal pillow system. At first I tried using a chin strap to keep my mouth closed when I slept. However, it was too bulky to use with a nose pad strap and the neoprene it contained caused sweating at the contact points. I then tried sealing my mouth with surgical tape, but none of the ones I tried stuck to my

Brilliant, and I'm severely allergic to glue!

Shortly after I needed stitches I found out I was very allergic to glue then the stitches wouldn't heal so I had a gash on my shoulder for 2 months and had to be dressed every day. Everyone told me to use duct tape, it's good for sensitive skin, which was a little better, but I was still so red and irritated when the duct tape touched the skin. So I searched the internet for various things and this type of tape was recommended by a doctor. so in the dark. Bought it from Revain. Oh my god, this…

EXCELLENT PRODUCT WITH ADDITIONAL BONUS

Very happy with the tape. Excellent price. The tape tears easily every 2 inches, I need 4 inches so I tear it at the second perforation. I have to clean and bandage the wound twice a day for 4 weeks. Paying the price of a pharmacy has become expensive. Also, I had to cut them off. I had surgery on my face just above the eyebrows, which is a very sensitive area. I have to be careful with the right wound protection to avoid infection. This tape sticks securely to my skin and doesn't hurt the…
