Elbow patches not needed.
This came fast, so no worries there. The material is thin but nothing a camisol won't fix. My problem is like several customers, the elbow patches don't match and they are not on my elbows. I have short arms, so they should work. Makes a pretty tunic look cheep. I may see if my seam ripper can take them off. Otherwise this is soft and great for leggings
