I have a Shorky who enjoys sitting on the porch and watching people and dogs, but recently he has learned to get over the short barrier that initially blocked the porch entrance. It's time for the gate but I wasn't sure what to get since I have a brick porch I can't drill through. Then I found this gate that doesn't need to be attached to anything and fits in very wide spaces (perfect for my porch with an entrance of about 70 inches). It took me about five minutes to assemble and it's very easy to lengthen and shorten to fit the space. This keeps my dog safe and healthy on the porch while still being able to stop by to have a look. Perfect.
