For years I've been looking for clamshell measuring cups with etching instead of ink. I'm so happy with them so far! While I can tell cup sizes apart after the ink wears off, my kids can't. As a result, I have repeatedly repurchased flawless mugs as the old sizes rub off even after trying to seal, scratch or scuff what I have to make them last longer. Finally someone had the brains to make old-fashioned measuring cups with indelible markings and then upgrade them! Each cup has its own easily distinguishable color (though I can't vouch for color blind people) with magnets to hold. cups together and a silicone grip to help you when you get the oil on your hands. The part I didn't realize until I physically held them is that the larger measuring cups have markings on the smaller side. So if you're making something complex, you don't need the whole set, and you don't have to stop and wash between ingredients. I no longer need multiple cups when you need 2 1/3 cups of flour, and no longer get frustrated during measuring because I have to stop, wash spoons and try not to lose track of where I've been!
