also good for crafts!

I do not use them to store or heat food. I use them for crafts. Please note this. (Actually, I prefer not to reheat food in plastic.) I have a book on resin jewelry that has a chapter on how to make your own molds. Using a large yogurt jar to store the silicone molding sand is recommended, but these can be hard to find unless you regularly buy yogurt by the jar. So I figured I'd order them instead. They seem to be doing their job. To be honest, they're a bit richer than yogurt jars. I pour the silicone mixture here (only halfway; there's no need to fill it all the way if the product I'm modeling is small). I place the item (I use vintage celluloid bracelets) and put a polymer clay stopper in the center of the bracelet to save on silicone. I then have it installed according to the instructions on the box. The finished mold isn't too difficult to remove from the bath, but I cut the baths completely with heavy-duty scissors if needed (I handle them like disposables). The lids fit well although I haven't tested it. to make sure they are waterproof because as I said I don't eat them or turn them over. So far none of mine have broken or ripped. They appear to be transparent. The ones I received looked exactly like the official product image.
