Discs broke on first use. So definitely not reusable. The plastic is of very poor quality. it breaks very easily every time you open it and sharp little pieces of plastic just fall into the food. I am very disappointed because they look so beautiful.

First came a container with a broken lip and was unusable. Despite that, I was very happy with the purchase as I like to prepare a large batch of food for later use. While the freezer is safe and you can probably use the microwave, all my engineers (three of them!) say NO! Simply thaw in a saucepan of water, then transfer to a saucepan or microwave-safe glass bowl.

Update: 01/27. I just bought my 2nd set. They are cheap and keep well in the fridge. The covers also hold securely in a teenage book bag. I would love to compare them to larger soup containers of the same size BUT I find they are better quality than the take out ones. 11/9 bought 2 more sets. Still amazing! I have already bought 2 separately! They're perfect for leftovers and for making a Sunday gravy the kids can take home! Will keep buying forever!

But as someone who has been cooking professionally for 20 years and has digested thousands of such dishes, I can say that they are not of very good quality. Bought twice - best price I've found. Do a good job freezing the tons of tomato sauce (from our big harvest) I have in the freezer. I like that they can be stacked, they clean well in the dishwasher without bending and I haven't had any problems with lids bouncing in the freezer.
