They were so easy to install. 10 minutes max. They are very easy to use. They keep the kayaks very safe. The included straps and bow/stern ropes work great. I love how sporty they look when not carrying kayaks. There are two things I can quibble about, but that doesn't deserve a star rating. Instructions do not include buckling up the kayaks or using the bow/stern ropes. A quick YouTube search was very helpful. The included paddle straps are very difficult to attach, especially with two paddles, but I think it helps keep them secure. I really like her!
