Bought my Sky Caddy in Jan 08. The first impression was favorable, but some shortcomings were soon noticed.1. If I didn't have a full charge, my Sky Caddy would not be able to track satellite, rendering it useless for the lap. 2. Distances were often inaccurate - often by as much as 15 yards. My observations were based on known throwing distances at my home club. This caused some problems at clubs where I didn't know the golf course. Customer Service - I left 3 messages to customer service representatives (no one answered the phone) and none of them were returned.4. When I asked my Club Pro about his experience, he said he has already turned in 7 Sky Caddies from members that aren't working properly. His representative said nothing would be done to repair or replace the devices. When the device was working properly, it was great, especially on an opaque track. However, the flaws and lack of support stand in the way of the deal.
