Review on HARFO Electronic Keypad Deadbolt Door Lock With Handle Set, Fingerprint Smart Digital Entry Lock, Aged Bronze Finish by Dan Toliver

Looks really nice, and was super easy to install, you have to drill a hole that most dont use but not a big deal.so the bad. if you had a deadbolt, the outside part covers the hole, but for some reason they made the inside smaller so it doesn't. Other units of this type do or have a plate available that will that goes with the unit.The fingerprint unit is hot garbage. I made 5 entries, admin and 4 users, all using the same finger. I used a grease pencil to draw a cross hair on my finger and the sides to make sure i was putting the finger in the same spot.mind you i did this for 5 separate accounts. I could not get it to unlock for anything. and it locks out for like 2 minutes after three attempts, so i sat there for 30 minutes trying it. no matter how i held my finger in cross hair or moved around would not recognize.Also the design, if you touch it anywhere on the fingerprint, it says incorrect then after a few seconds turns off. If you touch it anywhere on the keypad it enters whatever number you hit so you have to hit back space, then wait then enter your numbers. So basically if its dark, you will have to hit the keypad, wait, then backspace, then enter your code.The batteries were low after a day, but i figure that may of been the half our or so i was messing with it. but sad to say, its easier with that, now when i hit the keypad it tells me battery low and i can then type in the code without finding the backspace.I also cant get it to do a pass-through for when I have guests and I want the door to remain unlocked so people can go in and out, so i have to leave it cracked air conditioning the outside as my dad would say.i like the design of the unit, and it was hands down the easiest one of these I have ever installed, possibly the easiest door knob I have ever installed, but the planning for putting it on existing doors fell short and they really need to rework the user interface.I would not recommend this at all with all the other options out there.
