Seriously, this is one of my happy purchases. We had thousands of old family slides and didn't have a projector to look at them. We wanted to be able to view slides and make decisions about converting or deleting slides. They were old and stored in a warehouse, so some of them had stretched out from the damp. These films tended to get stuck but were easy to remove. The beauty of this device was that I could actually hold the slide up to the light and tell what the picture was without having to put it in the viewer. I was able to complete the project in about 8 hours.
