Mount this bad boy under the driver's seat and you'll feel it. I can't tell you how much you'll feel it when you put it in the trunk, but it definitely won't sound awkward from outside the car. perfect for lots of bass without being visible from the outside, making it less attractive to people trying to break in and steal it. Remote control button I installed it for. Don't forget to toggle the Hi/Low level switch to see which bass notes you want to hear as well. Just make sure the dimensions fit under the seat. My car is a 2018 Civic Si and definitely fits under the drivers seat and in the factory block with no issues. We take the power to turn on the device from the output voltages of the speakers. Keep in mind that this is by no means a comparison of such a system with 2 subwoofers in a trunk box. There is enough rumble and bass in the car for me and my passengers, and I wanted to save space in the trunk for other things, so this was the best solution! If I wanted more bass I would probably buy a different unit and put it under the passenger seat. In my opinion it's better than the HS8, although it's only a few watts more. Note, however, that a 10" woofer will move more air than an 8" woofer, but to each their own.
